ZoneFee cannot confirm the specific amounts from public-facing documents.

Special Districts and MUDs

Multiple Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs) exist in Williamson County. Georgetown's incorporated city limits and ETJ boundary overlap with several MUDs.

Distinction: MUD infrastructure costs and MUD ad valorem tax rates are charges assessed by the district on property owners - they are not City of Georgetown development fees. Georgetown's city-imposed impact fees and tap fees (documented above) are entirely separate from MUD assessments.

For properties within a MUD:

  • Properties within Georgetown's incorporated limits: city impact fees assessed at building permit issuance
  • Properties within Georgetown's ETJ: city impact fees assessed at final plat recordation
  • Offset and reimbursement agreements between the city and specific MUDs exist on a deal-specific basis and are not published as standard schedules (Georgetown MUD Policy adopted July 24, 2018)

ZoneFee has not inventoried individual MUD fee schedules. MUD-specific assessments vary by district and are governed by TCEQ-registered district documents. Contact the relevant MUD directly for district-specific assessments.
