Georgetown, TX - Utility Tap and Connection Fees

These fees apply to new water, wastewater, and electric service connections in Georgetown. Rates vary by meter or pipe size (water and wastewater) or service configuration (electric). These tap and connection fees are separate from and in addition to Georgetown’s water and wastewater impact fees, which are covered on the Georgetown, TX development fees page.

Water Tap Fees

Note: The Liberty Hill with Western District area (formerly Chisholm Trail) has a separate outside-city wastewater connection rate of $600. Meter plus actual cost of materials and labor applies for connections greater than 8 inch.

Outside-City Utility Connection Application Fee

Electric Meter Connection Fees

The Electric Meter Connect Fee covers the cost of providing the meter, installing the meter, the initial inspection, and related metering and engineering system updates. The fee applies to all new services, service relocations, rebuilds, upgrades, additions of Distributed Energy Resources (DER), and conversions from overhead to underground.
